Richard A. Fletcher

Raymertown  Richard A. Fletcher, 63, of Mason Lane, died suddenly Monday at Samaritan Hospital Troy  after being stricken at work. 

Born in Troy,  he was son of the late Chester A. and Evelyn Elizabeth Adams Fletcher. He was raised in Lansingburgh and later resided in Halfmoon and in Raymertown for the past 20 years and was educated at Lansingburgh High School.

Mr. Fletcher was a radiator machinist for the Ford Motor Company in Green Island for several years and later was a bus driver for Laidlaw Transportation for the past 10 years. 

He was a member of the United Auto Workers and a US Navy veteran. 
     
Survivors include a brother Norman K. Fletcher and his wife Dolores of Speigletown;  and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a beloved friend Ron Woods.

Funeral service will be held Friday at 11:00am from the Bryce Funeral Home, Inc. corner of Pawling at Maple Avenues in Troy. 

Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home Thursday from 4-8pm. 

Interment Oakwood Cemetery in Troy.
