Shirley A. Peters Murray, 65

Claverack - Shirley A. Peters Murray, 65, of Mobile Lane died suddenly Saturday, November 15, 2008 at her residence.

Born in Troy, she was daughter of the late Glenford Allen Peters and Helen (Shober) Peters and wife of James Murray.

She was raised in Troy, resided in Stuyvesant and the past 12 years in Claverack and was a Certified Nursing Assistant for many years, most recently at Adventist Nursing Home in Livingston for 9 years.

Shirley was a Communicant of Sacred Heart Church in Troy.

Survivors in addition to her husband include two daughters, Kimberly Murray of Selden and Melissa Murray of Hudson; a brother, William G. (Debbie) Peters of Troy; five grandchildren, Sean, Nicole, Jessica, Heather and Jason Walz ; five nephews Billy, Andy, Chris and Chad Peters and Josh Jones and several grand nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be held Tuesday at 10:00 AM at Sacred Heart Church in Troy where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated.

Relatives and friends may call at the Bryce Funeral Home, Inc., 276 Pawling Avenue, Troy, on Tuesday from 8- 9:30 AM prior to the Mass.

Interment will be in Oakwood Cemetery.
