Peter Dmyterko, 79

Albany - Peter Dmyterko, 79, of Thoroughbred Lane died Tuesday, January 17, 2012, at Our Lady of Mercy Life Center Guilderland after a brief illness.

Born in Troy, he was son of the late John Dmyterko and Anna Palubniak Dmyterko. He was raised in Troy and was a graduate of Troy schools and earned a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering and Master's in Science from RPI.

Mr. Dmyterko was a chemist for BF Goodrich in Cleveland, OH.

Peter was a avid reader, loved long vigorous walks and would always welcome the opportunity to debate politics.

Survivors include a sister, Adele Smith, and two brothers, John Dmyterko, of Saugerties, and Paul Dmyterko, of Albany; a sister-in-law, Patricia; a niece, Kaitlyn and nephew ,Geoffrey and several aunts and cousins.

Relatives and friends may call at the Bryce Funeral Home, Inc. 276 Pawling Avenue Troy on Thursday from 5-7 PM with a Panachyda Service at 5PM.

Funeral Service / Parastas will be held Friday at 9:30am at St. Nicholas Ukranian Orthodox Church 376 Third Street Troy with Rev. Paul Szewczuk, Pastor, Officiating.

Interment will be in St. Nicholas Ukranian Cemetery Troy.

In lieu of flowers contributions may be made in memory of Peter Dmyterko to the American Parkinson Disease Association, Inc. Parkinson Plaza, 135 Parkinson Ave. Staten Island, NY 10305.
