Peter J. Carpenter

North Greenbush - Peter J. Carpenter, 82, of Blooming Grove Drive died Monday, January 25, 2016, at Van Rensselaer Manor after a long illness.

Born in Bronx, NY, he was son of the late Peter Carpenter and Elizabeth Dorothy Marvin. He was a long time resident of the Troy Adult Home.  Mr. Carpenter was employed janitor for many years.  

He was an Army veteran of the Korean War.   

He has no immediate survivors.

A graveside service will be held Thursday, January 28, 2016 at 12 noon at the Elmwood Hill Cemetery 51 Belle Avenue Troy with Deacon Charles Wojton, officiating.
