Paul James Tashjian, 51

Clifton Park - Paul James Tashjian, 51, of Stratford Drive died suddenly Wednesday, January 05, 2011.

Born in Troy, he was son of the late Joseph J. Tashjian Sr. and Kathryn Elaine Guth Tashjian. He was raised in Troy, resided in Colorado for several years returning to the Capital District in 1985. He was a graduate of Troy High School class of 1978 and served in the US Army after high school.

Paul was employed at CSC in Menands since 1986 most recently as claims manager.

His children were the most important part of his life.

Survivors include his children, Carly and Benjamin Tashjian; two brothers, Joseph J. (Karen) Tashjian Jr. DVM, East Concord, NY and Henry 'Hank' G. (Kim) Tashjian, Wilsall, MT and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

A service of remembrance will be held Saturday at 2:00 PM at the Bryce Funeral Home, Inc. 276 Pawling Avenue Troy. Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home Saturday from 1- 2 PM prior to the service.

In lieu of flowers contributions may be made in memory of Paul J. Tashjian for a children's education fund, checks in the name of Carly and Benjamin Tashjian c/o Joseph J. Tashjian Jr., 10055 Middle Road, East Concord, NY 14055.
