Paul J. Berg, 51

Pittstown - Paul J. Berg, 51, of Keefe Road died Wednesday, June 09, 2010, at his residence after a long illness.

Born and raised in Troy, he was son of the late Paul R. Berg and Ella R. Jenkins Berg and husband of Sandra A. Missenis Berg. He had resided in Brunswick and for the past 15 years in Pittstown and was a graduate of Troy High School.

Paul was a machine operator for Norton Company and later for Saint Gobain Abrasives in Watervliet for 30 years.

He loved camping, fishing and the outdoors.

Survivors in addition to his wife include a daughter, Casandra Rose Berg of Pittstown; a step son, Joseph Andrew Domey IV of Green Island; a step daughter, Jamie Lynn (Andy) Sousie of Berlin; a brother, John D. Berg of Rome two sisters, Mary E. Kelly, Ballston Lake and Peggy M. (Mrs Thomas) Botteicher of Callaway, VA; four grandchildren, Hannah and Hailey Domey and Andy and Dylan Sousie and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be held Saturday at 10:00 AM at the Bryce Funeral Home, Inc. 276 Pawling Avenue Troy with Rev. Tony Green, officiating.

Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home on Friday from 4-7.

Interment will be in Brookside Cemetery Brunswick.

In lieu of flowers contributions may be made in memory of Paul J. Berg to The Community Hospice of Rensselaer County 295 Valley View Boulevard Rensselaer, NY 12144.
