Patrick Michael Huyck, 45

Troy - Patrick Michael Huyck, 45, of Oxford Circle Brunswick died March 12, 2012 at Samaritan Hospital after a 4 month courageous and brave fight against a rare bile duct cancer also known as Cholangiocarcinoma.

Born on July 24, 1966 in Schenectady, New York.

Survivors include his mother Rachel Huyck and her husband John Herman of Brunswick and his father John Huyck and his wife Mary of Clifton Park. Grandson of the late Ted and Mary Landry of North Woodstock, NH and John and Mary Huyck of Troy. Also, surviving are several aunts, uncles and cousins.

Patrick was raised and lived in Troy and Brunswick all his life. For the majority of his working life, he was employed as a mason for Jay Masonry and Mauriello Construction. Patrick loved fishing, snowboarding, bike riding, jet skiing, going to auto shows, playing drums and tinkering around the house.

A family memorial service is to be held at a future date in New Hampshire.

Patrick's' family would like to thank the nurses and staff of Samaritan hospital for his care. Also to all for their love, support and prayers at this time of sorrow.
