Patricia A. (Matthews) Maloney

Brunswick - Patricia A. (Matthews) Maloney of Brunswick, entered into eternal rest at Albany Medical Center on Thursday, May 18, 2017 surrounded by her loving family.

Born in Troy, NY on September 30, 1942 to the late William and Theresa (Will) Matthews, Pat was a 1959 graduate of Catholic Central High School.

Along with raising her family, Pat was a legal assistant at the Watervliet Arsenal until her retirement in 2006.  She enjoyed her children, their families and all of their activities including regularly attending her grandchildren’s
sporting events.  Pat also served on the Board of Directors for the Brunswick Bulldogs Youth Football League and Brunswick Baseball.

Pat was the widow of Michael P. Maloney, amazing mom to 6 children: Debbie Barcomb of Colonie, Dawn (Guy) Changa of Wynantskill with whom she most recently resided, Shawn (Jennifer) Maloney of Latham, Donna (Rick) LaChance of Ballston Spa, Doreen (Steve) Dean of Johnsonville, and Dan (Angel) Maloney of Corinth. Proud grandma to 19 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren, and supportive sister to William Matthews of Latham and Gary Matthews of Gansevoort.

Relatives and friends may call at the Bryce Funeral Home, 276 Pawling Avenue, Troy on Wednesday, May 24, 2017 from 4-7 PM.

Funeral service will be held Thursday, May 25, 2017 at Noon at the funeral home and 12:30 at Brunswick Church, 42 White Church Lane, Troy with Rev. Wade S. Petteys officiating.

Interment will be in St. Jean's Cemetery in Troy.

Pat’s children would like to thank the many doctors, nurses, staff and therapists that assisted their mom during her long illness, including the compassionate care given by Dr. Sharon Tietgens.
