Norma G. Meader Anderson, 98

Troy-Norma G. Meader Anderson, 98, formerly of Lansingburgh, died Monday, July 3, 2006 at Northwoods at Troy.

Born in Schenectady, she was the daughter of the late Charles Meader and Clara (Smith) Meader and wife of the late Arthur G. Anderson and Raymond V. S. Stalker.

She had resided in the Troy area all her life, a former Lansingburgh resident and was a graduate of Lansingburgh High School.

Mrs. Anderson was a clerk at Albany Parsont Reporting Services many years ago.

She was a member of First United Presbyterian Church of Troy, the Silver Bay Association, Troy Senior Citizens, Albany Institute of History and Art and the Apollo Court Order of the Amaranth Troy where she was Royal Matron and the Grand Representative to the Louisiana Order of the Amaranth in 1988.

She is survived by a friend, Alice Lazzaro of Troy. She was predeceased by a brother, Clifford S. Meader.

Funeral service will be held Wednesday at 12 noon at the Bryce Funeral Home Inc 276 Pawling Avenue Troy with Rev. Alexandra Lusak, officiating.

Interment Fairmont Cemetery in Quaker Springs, NY.
