Nancy A. Duffey Markle

North Greenbush Nancy A. Duffey Markle, 54, of Fairfax Avenue, died Thursday at her home, surrounded by her loving family, after a long illness.
Born in Troy, she was daughter of Elizabeth M. Fitzpatrick Duffey of Wynantskill and the late William G. Duffey and wife of David M. Markle. She was a lifelong resident of Wynantskill and was a 1966 graduate of Catholic Central High School.
Nancy was a customer service representative for the New York State Motor Vehicle Title Bureau in Albany for 25 years, retiring in August of 2002.
She was a member of CSEA and a communicant of St. Jude the Apostle Church in Wynantskill. She enjoyed arts and crafts on Friday nights in her home with her family and friends.
Survivors in addition to her husband and mother include two daughters, Colleen A. Reo of Clifton Park and Lori A. McGrath of Waterford; a son, Richard D. Markle of Wynantskill; a sister, Patricia A. Martone of Troy; a brother, Timothy Duffey of Albany; two grandchildren Austin and Jillian McGrath; her father-in-law, Melvin Markle of Poestenkill; a sister-in-law Diane Vincent (Jim) of Loudonville and several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be held Tuesday at 9:00am from the Bryce Funeral Home, Inc. corner of Pawling and Maple Avenues Troy and at 9:30am from St. Jude the Apostle Church in Wynantskill where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home Monday from 3-7pm. Interment Elmwood Hill Cemetery in Troy.
