Myrtle Margaret (Angle) Banker

Wynantskill - Myrtle Margaret Angle Banker, 95, of Whiteview Road died Thursday, May 4, 2017, at Barnwell Nursing & Rehabilitation Center Valatie after a brief illness.

Born in Troy, she was daughter of the late Elmer Angle and Marie Lindemann Angle. She had resided most of her life in Wynantskill and was a 1939 graduate of Troy High School. 

Mrs. Banker was employed at Sterling Winthrop Drug in Rensselaer for many years and for many years was a housekeeper.  

She was a member of the Wynantskill, Poestenkill and Troy Senior Citizens.  

Survivors include a son, Dr. Richard (Sandra) Banker, Tappahannock, VA; a daughter, Marie (Kirkland) Harris, Monticello, NY;  7 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren and a niece and a nephew.  She was predeceased by a sister, Mildred Gundrum.

Relatives and friends may call at the Bryce Funeral Home, Inc. 276 Pawling Avenue Troy on Friday, May 12, 2017 from 11AM-1PM with a funeral service at 1PM.

Interment will be in Elmwood Hill Cemetery Troy.
