Minnie F. Miller Daniels, 84

Troy Minnie F. Miller Daniels, 84, of Lincoln Avenue, died suddenly Wednesday at Samaritan Hospital Troy.

Born in Averill Park, she was daughter of the late Harry W. and Lena Engwer Miller and wife for the past 61 years of George (Wes) Daniels. She had resided in Poestenkill for 20 years and the past 50 years in Troy and attended Troy High School.

Mrs. Daniels was a home health aide for Troy Visiting Nurses and prior to that worked as a folder for Standard Manufacturing Company retiring 22 years ago.

She was a charter member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary- Sullivan Jones Post 7466 Poestenkill and a longtime member of the Poestenkill Evangelical Lutheran Church.

Survivors in addition to her husband include four sons Gerald Daniels and wife Eleanor of Troy, David Daniels and wife Beverly of Waterford, Erle Daniels of Troy and Timothy Daniels of Clifton Park; a daughter Nancy Wittemer and husband James of Troy; a sister Irene Wheeler of Poestenkill; 15 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a son Harold Daniels and two sisters Mildred Fleming and Harriet Becker.

Funeral service will be private at the convenience of the family. Interment Center Brunswick Cemetery.
