Minna C. (Caplan) Levy

Greenville, SC - Minna C. Levy, 99, of East Hillcrest Drive and formerly of Lakewood Place Troy died Sunday, April 30, 2017, in Greenville, SC.

Born in Troy, she was daughter of the late Irving J. Caplan and Marie D. Solomon Caplan and wife of the late Joseph H. Levy. She had resided in Troy most of her life and in Greenville since 1997.  She was a  1935 graduate of Troy High School. 

Minna worked with her husband in family business, Colonie Fibre Co., Inc. for many years and was President after her husband died in 1970.

She was a member of Congregation Beth Emeth, Albany and a former member of Colonie Country Club, Country Club of Troy and the Troy Club.    

Survivors include a daughter, Judith L. (Thomas) Clement, Cohoes, NY; a son, Joseph H. Levy, Jr., Greenville, SC; a grandson, Joseph H. (Alexandra) Levy, III and two great grandchildren, Joseph H. Levy, IV and Cora E. Levy.  She was predeceased by a sister, Laura C. Woodroe.

Funeral service private at the convenience of the family.

Interment will be in Beth Emeth Cemetery Loudonville.
