Mary Lafferty, 95

Loudonville - Mary Lafferty, 95, of Loudonville Home for Adults died Friday August 29, 2008 at the home after a brief illness.

Born in Troy, she was daughter of the late Edward Lafferty and Margaret (Fahey) Lafferty.

Mary graduated from Catholic Central High School and attended Russell Sage College. She was the Executive Secretary for the Assistant Attorney General of New York State for 40 years.

Survivors include her nieces, Sharon Zugalla and Sheila McMahon both of Troy; a grand niece and nephews, Beth Anne (Ben) VonEitzen of NC, Brad Zugalla of Colorado, and Lane J. (Gina) Zugalla of Troy and several additional grand nieces and nephews and a sister-in-law, Viola Lafferty of Troy. She was predeceased by her brothers, John, Edward and Joseph Lafferty.

Funeral service will be held today at 11am at the Bryce Funeral Home, Inc., 276 Pawling Avenue Troy. Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home from 10-11 prior to the service.

Interment will be in the St. Mary's Cemetery.
