Troy - Mary Bill, 96, died Sunday, November 29, 2009, at Van Rensselaer Manor after a long illness.

Born in Troy, she was daughter of the late Howard Salisbury and Rose VanEck Salisbury and wife of the late James H. Bill Sr. She had resided in Troy most of her life and was a graduate of Troy Business College and Samaritan Hospital School of Nursing.

Mary was employed at the Menands Workshop.

Survivors include a son, James H. Bill Jr. She was predeceased by a brother, Harry Salisbury.

Friends are invited to gather at the Gardner Earl Chapel of Oakwood Cemetery in Troy at 9:45am Wednesday for a graveside service at 10AM with Rev. C. Joseph Ingraham.
