Mark H. Gentner

Poestenkill - Mark H. Gentner, 55, of  Blue Factory Road died Thursday, November 5, 2015, at his home after a long illness.

Born in Troy, he was son of the late Frederick and Shirley Ann  Lohnes Gentner. He resided in Averill Park most of his life and was a graduate of Averill Park High School.

Mark was a self employed small engine mechanic.

Mark enjoying gardening, hunting and working on small engines. He loved spending time with his dog, Princess. He was a dedicated Miami Dolphin fan.

Survivors include his siblings, Ronald (Roberta 'Bert) Gentner, Michael Gentner, and June E. (Bill) Aiken; his nieces and nephew, Jennifer (Eric) Wrubleski, Kristen (Michael) Sorel, Daniel (Lynn) Scott, Cassandra Scott, Dawn Jennings, Tina Powers, Bill Aiken, Cassie Ann and Freddy Gentner. 

He was predeceased by his sister, Ann Marie Scott

A graveside service will be held Tuesday, November 10, 2015 at 11AM  at Brookside Cemetery Plank Road Barberville with Rev. Shawn Chamberlain.

Interment will be in  Brookside Cemetery Barberville.

In lieu of flowers contributions may be made in memory of Mark H. Gentner to The National Children's Cancer Society  500 North Broadway, Suite 1850  St Louis MO 63102.
