Marjorie R. Felt Denue, 81

Berlin - Marjorie R. Felt Denue, 81, formerly of Plank Road Berlin, died Monday, February 18, 2008 at Samaritan Hospital in Troy after a long illness.

Born in Watervliet, she was the daughter of the late Arthur and Minnie (Dill) Felt and wife of the late William H. Denue.

She was raised in Troy and attended Troy schools. Many years ago, Marjorie was employed at Tiny Town Togs.

A devoted homemaker to her large family, with little free time, her greatest pleasure was meeting friends for a coffee-klatch. She was a loving member of Union Gospel Church of East Poestenkill for over 40 years.

She is survived by her sons, John A. (Mechelle) Denue of North Bennington, VT, David J. (Dorothy) Denue of Averill Park, William R. (Donna) Denue of Charleston, SC, Lawrence L. (Chris) Denue of Melrose, Robert W. (Darlene) Denue of Bennington, VT, Thomas E. (Kimberley) Denue of Berlin, Michael H. (Sonya) Denue of Berlin, Mark A. (Megan) Denue of Petersburg and Roger E. Denue of Berlin; her daughters, Eileen (Vince) Denue Leone of Mountain View, CA., Jeanette (Jeffrey) Matson of Poestenkill, Margaret J. (James) Vincent of Berlin and Virginia M. (Scott) Matson of Berlin; her sisters, Dorothy (Frank) Cramer of Castleton On Hudson and Joan (Al) Kannady of Los Gatos, CA; 29 grandchildren; 31 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a daughter, Nancy C. Denue and a sister, Eva Malesky.

Relatives and friends are invited to the memorial service Sunday at 2 PM at the Union Gospel Church 1039 Plank Road in East Poestenkill with Rev. Harold Matson, Pastor, officiating. There will be no calling hours.

Interment Old 56 Cemetery, in East Poestenkill in the Spring.
