Marjorie Beare Brennan, 81

Brunswick - Marjorie Beare Brennan, 81, of Brunswick Road died Sunday, August 02, 2009, at Evergreen Commons after a brief illness.

Born in Catskill, NY, she was daughter of the late Earl J. Beare Sr. and Lillian Soffel Beare and wife of the late Paul B. Brennan, Sr. She was raised in Catskill and Watervliet and resided almost 60 years in Brunswick and was a graduate of Watervliet High School.

Mrs. Brennan worked in the business office of the Brittonkill Central School District for over 20 years.

She was a member of the area senior citizens and enjoyed travel, bingo and playing cards.

Survivors include a son, Paul B. (Cynthia M.) Brennan Jr. of Holbrook, MA; a daughter, Linda Riley of Brunswick; three grandchildren, Brandon Riley of Brunswick, Paul B. Brennan III of Holbrook and Kelsey Riley of Brunswick; a great grandchild, Claire Riley of Troy; a brother, Earl J. Beare of Troy; a sister-in-law, Teresa Valentino of NJ and a niece and a nephew. She was predeceased by a brother, Robert W. Beare.

Funeral service will be held Wednesday at 11:00 AM at the Bryce Funeral Home, Inc. 276 Pawling Avenue Troy with Rev. Karyl Hopp, officiating.

Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday from 4-7 PM.

Interment will be in Memory's Garden Colonie.
