Clifton Park - Marjorie Sarah Allison Baker,88,of Clifton Park, died Monday, May 28, 2007 at Saratoga Hospital after a long illness surrounded by her loving family.

Born in Cohoes, she was the daughter of the late Samuel Allison and Rose (Gardner) Allison and wife of the late General John C. Baker.

She had resided for 47 years in Wynantskill, Clifton Park since 1994 and was a graduate of Mildred Elley School in Albany.

Mrs. Baker was a secretary for the former HB Kimmey in Albany many years ago.

She was a member of the Legislative Women's Club in Albany and the First Reformed Church of Wynantskill.

Survivors include three sons, J. Paul Baker of Estero, FL, Bruce W. Baker (Gail) of Loudonville and Carl R. Baker (Katherine) of Midlothian, VA; two daughters, Lynn S. Meyer (Robert) of Saratoga Springs and Carol A. O'Brien of Clifton Park; 12 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. She was predeceased by two brothers, William and Howard Allison.

Funeral service will be private at the convenience of the family.

Relatives and friends may call at the Bryce Funeral Home Inc. 276 Pawling Avenue Troy on Thursday from 4-8 PM.

Interment Oakwood Cemetery in Troy.
