There is nothing to prepare us for the passing of a parent. We all know it will happen and we can do everything to get ready for the moment, but when the time comes, it creates a huge void in our lives. You can fill the void with friends gathering, people mulling around and time spent with other family members. However, when the times comes that you find yourself alone, in peace and quiet you will feel the void again. When this happens, take the time to reflect, by closing your eyes, look toward the heavens. Soon Jesus will appear with his arms out stretched as if he is welcoming you, but he is not. His arms are out stretched to give you a hug and comfort you while he whispers gentle into your mind, "Mom is with me now, she is seated at my table and enjoying the feast of eternal life. Mom is at peace, not longer tethered to an oxygen tube, no longer struggling and no longer in pain. Mom is young now, as she has taken on her age as a young lady, laughing and having a good time. Your Mom is safe with me." Your Mom will smile down on you like the sun. So when you feel the sun on your face, it's Mom, when the breeze blows, Mom is blowing you a kiss and when night falls and you get under those covers, Mom is tucking you in. So do not be sad, be happy for Mom. She is safe, warm and loved in heaven, just like she was on earth. God Bless you all and may you find the grieving process quickly replaced with nothing but calm and happier times. That is what Mom is hoping for.

Janna, Tender sympathies to you, your father, your brothers, and your Andrew, as well as your Mom's siblings and in-laws. She held on. Now she's free. I know she is still close by you all. Please be comforted.

My heartfelt sympathies to the Hankle family on your loss. While I didn't know your mother/spouse, I know she was deservedly loved. She raised a very nice young man-Erick, who are family thinks a lot of. God bless you all. Tom Fitzpatrick.
