Marian Lanoue (Robinson) Clegg, 81

Fairport, NY Marian Lanoue (Robinson) Clegg, 81, formerly of Troy, died Tuesday, August 2, 2005 at Crest Manor Living and Rehabilitation Center in Fairport after a brief illness.

Born in Cohoes, NY, she was the daughter of the late Wilfred Alfred Lanoue and the late Louise (Gauthier) Lanoue. and wife of the late Paul P. Robinson and Wilfred J. Clegg.

She was raised in Cohoes and resided in Troy, NY, Valley Cottage Rockland County and the past 10 years at Fairport and was a graduate of Albany Business College.

Marian was a secretary for the Rockland County Hospital for several years.

Survivors include her seven children, Paul E. Robinson, Kathleen Clegg, Laurence Clegg, Christopher and Valerie Clegg, Christine and Lyle Fox, Leslie Clegg and Juanita and Simone Raia; a brother, Alfred H. Lanoue; a sister, Madeleine Reiter; 8 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren and 12 nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by two sisters, Ethel Ziegler and Edna Marzinski.

Funeral service will be held Saturday at 8 AM at the Bryce Funeral Home Inc. 276 Pawling Avenue Troy, NY and at 8:30 AM at St. Jude the Apostle Church Wynantskill where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Rev. James Clark. Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home Friday from 6-8 PM. Interment Elmwood Hill Cemetery in Troy.
