Maria Latini Siegel, 71

Schodack Maria Latini Siegel, 71,of North Schodack Road, died Sunday, January 30, 2005 at Evergreen Commons in East Greenbush.

Born in New York City, she was the daughter of the late Pierino Latini and Speranza Bonomo Latini and wife of the late Alan Siegel.

She was raised in the Bronx and resided in Long Island from 1960-70, moving to the Albany and Schodack areas and was educated at Bronx, New York schools.

Mrs. Siegel was a supervisor with the New York State Department of Transportation in buildings and transportation for over 20 years.

She was a member of the CSEA and the Schodack Garden Club.

She is survived by two sons, Kenneth Harlow Paul Siegel of Salt Lake City and Christopher Vance Siegel (Allison) of East Greenbush; a brother, Angelo Latini (Jocelyn) of Fall River, MA; a sister-in-law, Angela Latini; two grandchildren, Caitlin Elizabeth Siegel and Joshua Alan Siegel and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by two brothers, Pierino and Luigi Latini and a sister, Amelia Payne.

Funeral service will be held Friday at 9:00am from the DeGraaf-Bryce Funeral Home Inc. 4392 Route 150 West Sand Lake and at 9:30am at St. Henry's Church Old Route 66 Averill Park where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Rev. John Provost, Pastor. Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday from 4-7pm. Interment Memory's Garden, in Colonie.

Contributions may be made in memory of Mrs. Siegel to the American Parkinson Disease Association 116 John Street New York, NY 10038.
