Margaret Helmbold Rohn, 98

Troy - Margaret Helmbold Rohn, 98, formerly of Birchkill Lane, Lake George and Beechwood passed away August 15, 2013. She was the daughter of the late Fritz and Carolyn Helmbold and wife of the late Dr. John C. Rohn. She was the sister of Elsie Helmbold Collins and the late William Helmbold.

She is survived by daughters, Patricia MacNulty (Jay), Betsey MacIver (John Robert); grandmother of Scott Rohn MacIver, Jay Rohn MacNulty and the late Jennifer Lynn MacIver; great grandmother of Alden Margaret MacNulty, Chase Rohn MacIver and John Robert Chase MacIver.

Margaret graduated from Troy High School with high honors and Beaver College, Glenside, PA, Cum Laude. She was an Honorary Member of the Country Club of Troy and was active in civic and community affairs.

As per Margaret's request there will be no calling hours. Interment will be at a later date at the convenience of the family. Donations may be made in her name to the American Heart Association, Van Rensselaer Manor Activities Department 85 Blooming Grove Drive Troy, NY 12180 or the charity of one's choice.
