Margaret E. Goetz Dorman, 82

Brunswick - Margaret E. Goetz Dorman, 82, of Jay Avenue died Wednesday, November 12, 2008 at her residence after a brief illness.

Born in Troy, she was daughter of the late Herman V. Goetz Sr. and Anna (Sharpe) Goetz and wife of the late Donald A. Dorman.

She had resided in Troy all her life and was a 1943 graduate of Troy High School.

Mrs. Dorman was a homemaker and many years ago worked at Cluett, Peabody and Company.

She was a member of Third Presbyterian Church in Troy, active in the choir and an officer of the church. She enjoyed reading books and spending time with her grandchildren.

Survivors include her grandsons, Jason James (Colleen) Hudspath of Wynantskill and Paul A. (Tracey) Hudspath of Brunswick; a niece, Nancy Bullock (Michael) Nolan of Troy; her great grandchildren, Abbie, Katie and Rachel Hudspath and several cousins. She was predeceased by a daughter, Marcia Hudspath and a brother, Herman V. Goetz Jr.

Funeral service will be held Saturday at 10 AM at the Third Presbyterian Church 113 Winter Street Troy with Rev. John McAuley, Pastor, officiating.

Relatives and friends may call at the Bryce Funeral Home, Inc., 276 Pawling Avenue, Troy on Friday from 4-8 PM.

Interment will be in Elmwood Hill Cemetery Troy.
