Margaret F. Wells Demers, 82

Brunswick Margaret F. Wells Demers, 82, died Friday at Samaritan Hospital Troy, after a brief illness.

Born in Troy, she was daughter of the late Franklin and Bessie Moore Wells and wife for 61 years of John M. Demers. She had resided in Troy all her life and was a graduate of Troy High School.

Mrs. Demers was a clerk for Sim & Company in Troy for 25 years.

She was a member of the Samaritan Hospital Auxiliary, Home Bureau and a communicant of Our Lady of Victory Church in Troy.

Survivors in addition to her husband include a daughter Elizabeth Bartels and husband Paul of Zephyr Hills, FL; two sons John F. Demers and wife Theresa of North Greenbush and Donald Chester Demers and wife Debbie of Boise, ID; a sister-in-law Marge Wells of Troy; an aunt Eunice Peck of Troy; 10 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by three brothers Jack, Walter and William Wells.

Funeral service will be held Thursday at 11:00am from the Bryce Funeral Home, Inc. corner of Pawling at Maple Avenues in Troy with Rev. Randall P. Patterson, Pastor of Our Lady of Victory Church, officiating.

Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home Wednesday from 3-5 and 7-9PM. Interment Saratoga National Cemetery in Schuylerville.
