Margaret F. Carner DeLorme

Troy - Margaret F. Carner DeLorme , died Tuesday, May 22, 2007 at Evergreen Commons in East Greenbush after a brief illness.

Born in Troy, she was the daughter of the late Walter A. and Grace M. Carner. A life long resident of Troy, she graduated from Lansingburgh High School where in her senior year, came in first in shorthand and typing in New York State. After graduation, she worked at Troy Prudential Bank and for over 25 years as office manager at W.H. Bumstead, Inc. Retiring when they closed in 1983.

She was the beloved wife of the late Edward W. DeLorme. She is survived by a stepson, Edward DeLorme (Kathy) of Long Island; a stepdaughter, Carol Maxwell (Timothy) of Ulster Park; two nephews, Jeffrey Heimburg (Paula) of Santee, California and Gregory Heimburg (MaryAnn) of Farmington; five nieces, Kimberley Kane (Patrick) of Troy, Tracey Costanzo (John) of Lambertville, N.J., Barbara Maiello (Anthony) of Latham, Shirley Warn (John) of Granby, Ct. and Lorraine O'Keefe of Defreestville; four grandchildren, Peter DeLorme, Marcy Maxwell, Alexandra DeLorme and Allyson Whittaker and four great grandchildren Aylssa, Spencer and Brett DeLorme, and Zachary Whittaker. She was predeceased by two sisters, Anna Diodati and Edith Heimburg.

Funeral service will be held Friday at 11:00 AM at the Bryce Funeral Home Inc. 276 Pawling Avenue Troy with Rev. C. Joseph Ingraham, officiating.

Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home Friday from 9-11 AM prior to the service.

Interment St. Joseph's Cemetery in Troy.
