Margaret E. Staubach Courter, 59

Troy-Margaret E. Staubach Courter, 59,of Sherman Avenue, died Monday, January 16, 2006 at her residence after a year of illness.

Born in Suffern, NY, she was the daughter of Margaret (Gibbons) Staubach of Tampa, Fl and Troy, NY and the late Joseph Staubach and wife for 17 years of Dean R. Courter.

She had resided in Cohoes for several years and the past 17 years in Troy and was educated at Lyndon Tech College in Brandon, VT and BOCES.

Mrs. Courter was employed as a Licensed Practical Nurse for Albany County Correctional Facility for 25 years, retiring in January of 2005 due to ill health.

She was a member of American Kennel Club and Albany and Troy Kennel Clubs, NYS County Correctional Instructor's Association Northern Region, the Latham Women's Club and American/Canadian Shih-Tzu Club. She showed dogs for many years with several finished champions.

Survivors in addition to her husband and mother include a son, Scott Euvrard of Niskayuna; a daughter, Gretchen Euvrard of Rensselaer; two grandchildren, Patrick and Joshua Kinney; a brother, Joseph Staubach of Troy; a sister, Helen A. Marsh of Tampa, FL and several nephews and grand nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends may call at the Bryce Funeral Home, Inc. 276 Pawling Avenue Troy Thursday from 2 - 4:30pm with the funeral service to follow at 4:30pm with Rev. Patricia Fraser and Rev. Tony Green, officiating. Interment Gerald BH Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery, in Schuylerville, NY.
