Madeline Wagner Mundell, 97

Troy - Madeline Wagner Mundell, 97, formerly of Delaware Avenue Troy died Tuesday, June 19, 2012, at Stanton Nursing Home Glens Falls after a long illness.

Born in Troy, she was daughter of the late Henry Wagner and Louise Treseler Wagner and wife of the late John W. Mundell. She had resided in Troy all her life and was a graduate of Troy High School and Hudson Valley Community College in the dental assistant program.

Mrs. Mundell was a homemaker and worked as a legal secretary and dental assistant.

She was a member of Third Presbyterian Church in Troy, a Deacon and the women's group of the church.

Survivors include a son, John W. Mundell Jr., Troy; a daughter, Claire Mundell Epworth and husband Roger, Kattskill Bay, NY; a granddaughter, Natalie Mierek and husband Chris; two great grandchildren, Nicholas and Madeline and two nephews, Robert and Douglas Wagner. She was predeceased by a brother, Edward Wagner.

Relatives and friends may call at the Bryce Funeral Home, Inc. 276 Pawling Avenue Troy on Friday from 6-8PM

Funeral service will be held Saturday at 11AM at the funeral home with Rev. John McAuley, officiating.

Interment will be in Oakwood Cemetery Troy.
