Lynda Burgess Kelly, 69

Athens, NY-Lynda Burgess Kelly, 69,of Sleepy Hollow Road, died Tuesday, March 28, 2006 at St. Peter's Hospital in Albany after a brief illness.

Born in Cohoes, she was the daughter of the late Wilfrid Burgess and Mildred (Tofte) Burgess and wife of the late Gene R. Kelly.

She had resided in California for 53 years and the past 12 years in Athens, NY, was a graduate of Troy High School and attended Valley College in Van Nuys, CA.

Mrs. Kelly was currently employed, for the past 5 years, as an administrative assistant for AHR Associates in Albany.

She is survived by her sister, Lois Johnson of Athens; a step sister, Byllee Burgess of Murphysborough, TN; two nephews, Jon B. Watts (Monica) of North Pole, AK and Alejandro E. Johnson of Oakland, CA; a step daughter, Sharon Claudius (Gordon) of Laguna Niguel, CA; three step grandchildren, Bonnie Haddad of Laguna Niguel, CA, Susie Siegrest (Alan) of Laguna Beach, CA and Wendy Beresford of Bluffton, SC; three step great grandchildren, Erik, Sean and Shannon Siegrest of Laguna Beach, CA; a grand nephew and niece Jedidiah Watts and Jillian Christine Watts and a step grand nephew and two step grand nieces, Joshua and Jessie and Jackie Lariscey.

A memorial service will be held Saturday at 1:00 PM at the Bryce Funeral Home Inc. 276 Pawling Avenue Troy with Rev. Joanne McFadden, officiating.

Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home Saturday from 12 noon to 1PM prior to the service.
