Louise (Sinsig) Chiefari Brown

Wynantskill - Louise Sinsig Chiefari Brown, 95, formerly of Meadowlark Lane died Monday, September 19, 2016, at Eddy Memorial Geriatric Center.

Born in Troy, she was the daughter of the late Leonard Sinsig and Katherine (Backaus) Sinsig and wife of the late Charles M. Brown and the late James Chiefari.

She was raised in Lansingburgh and resided in Averill Park and Troy before moving to Wynantskill 38 years ago and was a graduate of  Averill Park High School class of 1939.

Mrs. Brown was employed as a receptionist for Dr. William Healey DDS in Wynantskill and was previously a keypunch operator for the NYS Department of Motor Vehicles in Albany for several years .

She was a communicant of St. Jude the Apostle Church in Wynantskill. 

Survivors in addition to her husband include her children, James (Janet) Chiefari of Grafton, Joseph Chiefari of Parker, CO, Katherine (Douglas) McNutt of Beaver Creek, OH, Leonard Chiefari of Brunswick and Michael (Jan) Brown of Grand Canyon, AZ; her sister, Shirley (Joe) Buehler of Coral Springs, FL, her grandchildren, Robert (Maria) Chiefari, Phillip (Amy), James and David Chiefari and Joshua Brown and seven great grandchildren, Luke and Jake Ryan and Troy, Derek, Savannah, Sara and Katie Chiefari.  She was predeceased by a granddaughter, Amy Ryan.
 
Relatives and friends may call at the Bryce Funeral Home Inc.  276 Pawling Avenue Troy on Sunday, September 25,2016  from 2-5 PM. 

Funeral service will be held Monday at 9 AM at the funeral home and at 9:30 AM at St. Jude the Apostle Church Wynantskill where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Rev. Anthony Ligato , Pastor.

Interment will be in  Oakwood Cemetery Troy.
