Louis Anthony Valenti, 67 Troy Louis Anthony Valenti, 67, of Troy, died Tuesday at Samaritan Hospital Troy, after a long illness. The son of Italian immigrants, the late Joseph and Mary Martone Valenti, he was born and lived all his life in Troy. He was a Korean War Army veteran having served from 1953-1955. Mr. Valenti was employed by New York Central Railroad and later worked in the restaurant business until 1997. He was a communicant of St. Mary's Church in Troy. Mr. Valenti is survived by his loving wife of 39 years Sandra Ann Collins Valenti; four sons Louis A. Valenti Jr. of Albany, Richard Valenti and wife Cathy of North Greenbush, Daniel Valenti and wife Sheri of East Greenbush and Chad Valenti of Troy; a sister Rita Valenti of Troy; three brothers Anthony Valenti of Florida, Patrick Valenti of Florida and John Valenti of Troy; two aunts Frances and Natalie Martone of Troy; a granddaughter Kaitlyn Marie Valenti and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by two brothers Joseph and Richard Valenti. Funeral service will be held Friday at 9:30am from the Bryce Funeral Home, Inc. corner of Pawling at Maple Avenue Troy and at 10:00am from St. Mary's Church in Troy where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home Thursday from 5-9pm. Interment St. Mary's Cemetery in Troy.
