Linda E. Geser

Troy - Linda E. Geser, 62, of Sixth Ave died Sunday, January 15, 2017, at Albany Medical Center Hospital after
a brief  illness.

Born in White Plains, NY, she was daughter of the late Thomas C. and Ida R. Geser. Linda grew up in Pound
Ridge, New York; was honorably discharged from the Army in 1974; and moved to Danbury, CT. She was the
manager of Video Adventure in Pound Ridge, NY. After relocating to Hoosick Falls, NY and Northfield, MA,
she settled in Troy, NY.  

She was a member of the Troy Senior Citizens Center, the Rourke Center, and a communicant of St. Anthony of Padua Church in Troy where she was a Eucharistic minister and a member of the choir. Linda was a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution and thoroughly enjoyed researching her family’ heritage.

Linda was very dedicated to her small business, Carousel Cards, where she made and sold personalized 
greeting cards for all occasions. This was a powerful way for her to share in the emotions of all who requested
her services.

Survivors include her siblings, Susan Anderson, Dover, FL; Nancy Lawton, Ashford, WA; Donna Geser-
Lawrence, North Fort Myers, FL; and Thomas J. Geser, Northfield, MA; her dear friend, Kathryn Connors 
Young, Troy, NY; and several nieces, nephews, cousins and 1 grandniece.

A Memorial Service will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday February 4 th at Bryce Funeral Home, Inc., 276 
Pawling Avenue, Troy, New York.
