Lila E. Rohr Youngberg, 92

Troy - Lila E. Rohr Youngberg, 92, of Heartwood Terrace, died Sunday, June 10, 2007 at St. Mary's Hospital in Troy after a long, full life.

She was the daughter of the late Samuel G. Rohr and Mabel (Adair) Rohr. Mrs. Youngberg was born in Buffalo, NY, and lived in and near Buffalo for 85 years. In 2000, she moved to North Greenbush, and spent her final two years in Troy.

Mrs. Youngberg graduated from Hutchinson-Central High School, at the age of 16, having skipped two grades. She worked as a secretary and comptometer operator for many years at various businesses, as well as being a housewife and mother.

For twenty seven years, she was a member of the Eastern Star, Naomi Chapter, No. 102, in Buffalo.

She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Robert and Elizabeth Youngberg of Waterbury, VT, and her daughter and son-in-law, Barbara Youngberg and Tony Maffeo, of West Sand Lake, NY, many nieces, nephews, grand nieces and nephews and great grand nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by two brothers and three sisters, Clifford Rohr, Margaret Rohr, Rachel Dent, Norman Rohr and Winifred "Tutter" Dabritz.

She was predeceased by her husband of 39 years, Erik A. Youngberg.

Relatives and friends may call at the DeGraaf-Bryce Funeral Home Inc. 4392 Route 150 West Sand Lake on Wednesday from 6-8 PM.

Funeral services will be held in Buffalo.

Interment will be in Acacia Park and Resthaven Memorial Garden in North Tonawanda, NY.
