Lee Harold Rabenburg, Jr.

North Greenbush - Lee Harold Rabenburg, Jr., 61, of North Greenbush, NY died Friday, May 22, 2015, at his home after battling brain cancer.  

Born in North Kingstown, RI, he was son of the late Lee Harold Rabenburg Sr. and Ellen Martha Sheehy Rabenburg and husband of 30 years to Toby Stencel Rabenburg.   Lee grew up in St. Clair Shores and Grosse Pointe Woods, MI.  He resided in Rochester Hills, MI for 15 years with his wife and son before being transferred to NY.  He earned his Bachelor's Degree from Western Michigan University and his Master's in Finance from Walsh College in Troy, Michigan.  

Lee was Director of Finance for Sonoco Plastics at Sonoco-Crellin, Inc. in Chatham, NY.  He retired on April 15th, 2015 after 32 years of service.  He enjoyed cycling, golf, traveling, meditation, exercising, yoga and, a good glass of wine.  Lee was the true Red Wings hockey fan.  His greatest joy was spending time with his family and friends.  

Survivors, in addition to his wife. include a son, Samual Lawrence Rabenburg, Albany, NY and his four sisters, Patricia Rabenburg, Sterling Heights, MI, Susan Vaughan, Naperville, IL, Cynthia (Robert) Vaughan, Zionsville, IN and Barbara (James) Fisher, Greeley, CO.  

A private celebration of Lee’s life will be held in the coming month.  In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in memory of Lee Harold Rabenburg, Jr. to the American Cancer Society Hope Lodge, 7 Oak Street, Worcester, MA  01609.
