LeRoy Norman 'Fred' Alderman

Brunswick - LeRoy Norman ‘Fred’ Alderman, 78, of Keyes Lane died Tuesday, June 5, 2018, at his residence after a long illness.

Born in Cherry Plains, NY, he was son of the late Louis Alderman and Florence Wood Blowers and husband of the late Catherine Sandra Cross Alderman. He had resided in Center Brunswick since 1966 and attended Troy High School. 

Norm worked for several years with BAFFCO Foods on Hoosick Road and for 20 years was a general contractor and owned and operated Northeast Construction in Center Brunswick. 

He enjoyed woodworking, furniture making, motorcycling, RVing and wintering in the Orlando, Florida area for 25 years.    

Survivors include two sons, Jeffrey N Alderman, Brunswick and T. Mark Alderman, Brunswick and 6 grandchildren and two great grandchildren.  He was predeceased by two brothers, Louis F. and Lawrence D. Alderman; two sons, David M. and N. Scott Alderman and two daughters-in-law, Suzanne Reiser Alderman and Jill Garfoli-Alderman.

Relatives and friends may call at the Bryce Funeral Home, Inc. 276 Pawling Avenue Troy on Friday, June 8, 2018 from 5-7PM with a service to follow at 7 PM with Rev. Edward Kacerguis, officiating.

Interment will be in Stephentown Cemetery at a later date.
