Kenya 'Kay' Morgan, 46

Troy - Kenya 'Kay' Morgan, 46, of Hill Street Troy died suddenly Tuesday, April 17, 2012, at her residence.

Born in New York City, she was daughter of William and Mary Morgan Covington and beloved companion of Harding H. 'Smitty' Smith. Kay was a chef at First Baptist Church in Troy.

She spoke three different languages and was the love of Smitty's life.

Survivors in addition to parents and Smitty include her children, Shahera Morgan, Miyosha Soto and Trevor Morgan; two sisters, Lynette Crowell and Renia Covington and several grandchildren and nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brother and sister, Michael and Sabrina Morgan.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral service which will be held Saturday at 11AM at the Bryce Funeral Home, Inc. 276 Pawling Avenue Troy with Rev. Douglas Thomson, officiating.

Interment will be in Evergreen Cemetery Wynantskill.

Smitty would like to thank his brother Andrew Maxwell Smith for his support. There will be a reception following the graveside service at First Baptist Church 82 Third St. Troy and all are welcome
