Kathryn Kolodich Teal, 92

Valatie- Kathryn Kolodich Teal, 92,of Barnwell Nursing Home died Saturday, September 16, 2006 at Albany Medical Center Hospital in Albany after a long illness.

Born in New York City, she was the daughter of the late Constantine Kolodich and Anna (Mazeur) Kolodich and wife of the late John James Teal Jr.

She had resided in New York City until the age of 8, then Clarks Chapel Road in Nassau until 16 and for 62 years had resided on Burden Lake Road. She was educated at the one room schoolhouse on Clark's Chapel Road in Nassau.

Mrs. Teal was a homemaker.

She was a member of St Stephen's Evangelical Lutheran Church in East Schodack, the Women's Club of the church and a member of Classie Lassie Home Bureau.

She is survived by four daughters, Anna Mary Curtis of West Sand Lake, Margaret Eksuzian (Eugene) of Pittsfield, Laura Sturm (William) of Brookview and Sally Ewald (Richard) of Sebastian, FL; a sister, Stacia Brehm of Castleton; 12 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren; 7 great great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a son, John J. Teal III.

Funeral service will be held Wednesday at 11am at the DeGraaf-Bryce Funeral Home Inc. 4392 Route 150 West Sand Lake.

Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home Tuesday from 4-7pm.

Interment Woodlawn Cemetery in East Schodack.
