Kathleen Anne Tremont

West Sand Lake - Kathleen Anne Tremont passed away peacefully on July 1, 2018 at Van Rensselaer Manor.

Born in Troy, NY on August 27, 1958.  She was the daughter of Kenneth E. Tremont, Sr and predeceased by her mother, Anne Malone Tremont.

Kathy was a graduate of Averill Park High School and Berkshire Medical College where she graduated with a degree in Applied Science and went on to become a Registered Nurse; later retiring from the NYS Department of Disability Determinations. 

In addition to her father, she is survived by her husband of 29 years, Richard Wright, her daughters Sheena Rote and Devon Thorne (Dusty) of Myrtle Beach, SC, her sister Kimberly Berger (Brian) of Castleton and her brother Kenneth E Tremont, Jr. (Kathi) of West Sand Lake.  She is also survived by her beloved nephews, nieces, aunts, uncles and cousins.

Kathy was a proud wife, mother and nurse. She enjoyed watching her family’s racing career and spending time with her friends and family that she treasured so much. She was adored and loved by everyone who knew her and was an inspiration to all. Kathy will be greatly missed but never forgotten. 

A special thanks to the Van Rensselaer Manor staff, all of whom cared deeply for Kathy.

Relatives and friends may call at the DeGraaf-Bryce Funeral Home, Inc.  4392 Route 150, West Sand Lake on Wednesday, July 11, 2018 from 5-7 PM.
