Karen L. Shepard, 34

Troy - Karen L. Shepard, 34, of Brentwood Avenue died suddenly Tuesday, February 03, 2009.

Born in Troy, she was daughter of Paula Gross Shepard. She was raised in Cohoes where she resided most of her life and was educated in Cohoes Schools and was a 1997 graduate of Siena College.

Karen was employed as a technical specialist in the claims department for the past 10 years, currently at Travelers Insurance in Albany .

Survivors in addition to her mother include two brothers, Daniel P. (Margaret) Shepard of Troy and David W. (Sandra) Shepard of Voorheesville; a sister, Kelly A. (Jason) Kimball of Troy and several aunts, uncles, cousins and nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be private at the convenience of the family. Interment will be in St. Agnes Cemetery Menands. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made in memory of Karen L. Shepard to the charity of one's choice.
