Joseph M. Yetto

November 10, 1968 ~ August 4, 2015 (age 46) 46 Years Old

Brunswick - Joseph M. Yetto, 46, of Westfall Avenue, passed away Tuesday, August 4, 2015 after a long illness.  

Born in Troy, he was son of John G. Yetto, Sr. and Mary Lou Gillick Yetto, Troy. He was the husband for 23 years of Jacquelyn L. Rubino Yetto. He had resided in Troy all of his life and was a graduate of Tamarac High School and Hudson Valley Community College. 

 Most recently, Joe was a Barber at The Barbers Shop on Campbell Avenue in Troy.  

He had a love of photography, especially taking photos of his boys at their sporting events. His passion was photographing himself with his wife and family.  When there were photos to be taken, everyone called on him. He once won an outdoor photography contest and the photo was published locally. 

Joe was an avid fisherman and spent many years at Cossayuna Lake with his family, he was the happiest when he was in nature. Joe always looked forward to family trips to Vermont, Cape Cod and Lake Placid.

Survivors in addition to his wife and parents include two sons, Timothy J. (T.J.) and Jacob J. (Bubba) Yetto,  both of Troy; four brothers, John (Dawn) Yetto, Jr., FL, Gary (Kimberley) Yetto, Clifton Park, Matthew (Cindy) Yetto, Niskayuna and Peter (Angela) Yetto, Fultonville; as well as his beloved dog, Rico and several nieces and nephews. 

Family and friends may call at the Bryce Funeral Home, Inc.  276 Pawling Avenue, Troy on Monday, August 10, 2015 from 4-8 PM. 

Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 10 AM at the funeral home and at 10:30 AM at Sacred Heart Church in Troy, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Rev. John Yanas, Pastor.

Interment will be in St. Jean's Cemetery, Troy.

In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Juvenile Diabetes Foundation Northeastern New York Chapter, 950 New Loudon Road, Suite 330 Latham, NY 12110 or to an Education Fund that has been set up for Timothy and Jacob.
