Joseph John Lynch Sr.

Slingerlands- Joseph John Lynch Sr., died Monday, June 5, 2006 at his residence with his family at his bedside.

Born in Wilkes Barre, PA, he was the son of the late Martin Lynch and Elizabeth (Murphy) Lynch and husband of the late Lois Carolyn Colehamer Lynch who died in March of 1999.

He had resided in in New York State most of his life.

He was an Army veteran of World War II serving 3 years.

Survivors include two sons, Steven Michael Lynch (Linda) and Joseph John Lynch Jr. (Patty Brown) both of Slingerlands; a beloved sister, Irene Lynch-Morgan of South Bend, IN; seven grandchildren, Steven M. Lynch Jr. (Brenda) of Michigan, Kristina Lynch-Guyette (Matthew) of Slingerlands, Susan Lynch-Brodie (Jon) of Queensbury, Kimberly Ann Lynch of Saratoga, Joseph Lynch III of Troy, Matthew Lynch (Brandi) of Phoenix and Eric Lynch (Laurie) of Lockport, NY and 12 great grandchildren.

Funeral service was private at the convenience of the family. Interment Oakwood Cemetery in Troy.
