Melbourne, FL - John 'Terry' Wilson, 74, of Lago Mar Drive Melbourne and formerly of South Glens Falls died Wednesday, October 24, 2018, after a brief illness.
Born in Troy, he was son of the late Thomas Wilson and Christine G. Terry Wilson and husband for 17 years of Kathy Franze Wilson. He was raised in Troy and resided in South Glens Falls and Melbourne, Florida and was a graduate of Troy High School.
Terry was a Facilities Supervisor for Niagara Mohawk for 32 years, retiring in 1999.
Terry was a sports enthusiast, following the NY Mets and New England Patriots. He was the Official Timekeeper for the Adirondack Red Wings for 20 years. Terry loved traveling in his RV and spending time with RV friends. He was a member of the Army National Guard.
Survivors in addition to his wife include a daughter, Amy Broz; a son, John T. (Amanda) Wilson. Jr.; two step daughters, Jennifer (Garrett) Bean and Alyssa (Christian) Carey Calabrese; two step sons, Jeffrey Wallace and Ryan (Katrina) Carey; two sisters, Christine 'Tina’ (Wyn) Braun and Pamela (Mel) Wilson-Allan and grandchildren, Alexis Broz and Adam and James Wilson
Relatives and friends may call at the Bryce Funeral Home, Inc. 276 Pawling Avenue Troy on Tuesday, November 6, 2018 from 9-11 AM with a funeral service at 11AM.
Interment will be in St. Agnes Cemetery Menands.
