John Howard McIsaac

Troy - John Howard McIsaac, 84, of Elmgrove Avenue died suddenly Saturday, December 26, 2015, at his residence.

Born in Troy, he was son of the late J. Howard McIsaac, Esq. and Charlotte May Ashton McIsaac. He had resided in Troy and Delmar all his life and was a graduate of St. Lawrence University in Canton, NY and earned his Master's from the University of Michigan. 

John was an Actuary for the State of New York for many years retiring 19 years ago.  

He was an Army veteran of the Korean War stationed in Germany.   

Survivors include a sister, Nancy M. (Richard) Shaw, Gorham, ME; a brother, Donald McIsaac, Troy; a niece, Kristen Shaw; two nephews, Jeffrey and Michael (Pascale) Shaw and a grand nephew, Aaron Shaw. 

Funeral service private at the convenience of the family.  Interment will be in  Oakwood Cemetery Troy.

In lieu of flowers contributions may be made in memory of John H. McIsaac to the American Cancer Society One Penny Lane Latham, NY 12110.
