Joan Cargill Obituary

Troy - Joan Post Cargill, 88, of Mark Street Troy died Tuesday, April 24, 2018, at St. Peter's Hospice Inn after a long illness.

Born in Albany, she was daughter of the late William Post and Helen Fountain Post and wife for 63 years of the late Todd Alfred Cargill who passed away in 2016. She was raised in Albany and resided for 52 years in Brunswick and was a graduate of Bethlehem High School.

Survivors include a niece, Jill (Emmett) Cummings, Albany and 2 nephews, Michael M. Chamberlain, Schenectady and Brian (Lora) Chamberlain, Albany; and several grand nieces and nephews.

All services will be private at the convenience of the family.

Interment will be in Elmwood Hill Cemetery Troy.

In lieu of flowers contributions may be made in memory of Joan Post Cargill to the Charity of one's choice.
