Jill A. Garfoli-Alderman, 53

Brunswick - Jill A. Garfoli-Alderman, 52, of Grange Road Troy died Sunday, June 12, 2011, at Samaritan Hospital after a long illness.

Born in Sharon, PA, she was daughter of Alice Jane Wardle Garfoli of Slippery Rock, PA and the late Anthony Garfoli and wife of Jeffrey N. Alderman. She was raised in Sharpsville, PA until 1980 and has resided in Brunswick ever since. She was a graduate of Sharpsville High School in Sharpsville, PA, class of 1976 .

Jill was a postal clerk at the Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute for the past 30 years.

For many years, she was an Avon representative. She was very loving and giving, had a magnetic personality and loved her pets..

Survivors in addition to her husband and mother include a brother, Francis J (Cecelia) Garfoli, Sharpsville, PA; two sisters, Susan J. (Kerry) Brown, Slippery Rock, PA and Jennifer L. (Burton) Packard, Volant, PA; her father-in-law and mother-in-law, Norman and Sandra Alderman of Brunswick; a brother-in-law, Mark (Suzanne) Alderman, Brunswick and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a brother, Baby Garfoli and two brothers-in-law, David and Scott Alderman.

Relatives and friends may call at the Bryce Funeral Home, Inc. 276 Pawling Avenue Troy on Wednesday from 4-7 PM.

Funeral service will be held Thursday at 11:00 AM at the funeral home with Rev. Edward Kacerguis, officiating.

Interment will be in Stephentown Cemetery Stephentown.
