Jeanne A. (Cipperly) Brown

Albany - Jeanne A. Brown, 68, of Crestwood Court entered into eternal rest, at her home, on Tuesday, May 3rd 2016. 

Jeanne is survived by her daughter Jennifer F. Pioggia (Michael) of East Greenbush and son Brian T. Jennings (Jennifer) of Finksburg, MD as well as two grandchildren Isabella and Sophia.

Jeanne is predeceased by her parents, Mary J. Farrell Cipperly and Ervin G. Cipperly formerly of West Sand Lake, NY.

For many years Jeanne worked as a legal secretary for Albany County Assistant District Attorney Daniel S. Dwyer and then for Albany County District Attorney Sol Greenberg. She took great pride in working for these two gentlemen in their offices. In later years Jeanne worked at Capital Region Orthopedic Group and most recently New York State Department of Transportation. She enjoyed her work at NYS DOT very much and recently began semi-retirement.

When Jeanne was younger she was an outdoor enthusiast who enjoyed all-season camping, hiking, boating and scuba diving. Jeanne treasured her Cape Cod family at the Village Green Motel in South Yarmouth, MA where she vacationed annually.

Relatives and friends may call at the DeGraaf-Bryce Funeral Home, Inc.  4392NY150, PO Box 275 West Sand Lake on Saturday, May 07, 2016 from 9AM - 10:30 AM prior to the funeral service at 10:30 with Rev. Edward  Kacerguis, officiating.

Interment will be in  St. Mary's Cemetery Troy.
