Jane McMath Kilduff

Troy - Jane M. Kilduff of Country Way died Tuesday, February 19, 2008 at Samaritan Hospital in Troy after a brief illness.

Born in Troy, she was the daughter of the late John McMath and Jane (Ryan) McMath and wife of the late William J. Kilduff.

She had resided on the East side of Troy most of her life and was educated at St. Joseph's School and Catholic Central High School class of 1935.

Jane was employed as a secretary for the New York State Department of Youth in Albany for many years, retiring in 1972. She later worked as a secretary for the Cancer Treatment Center at Samaritan Hospital.

She was a member of Country Club of Troy, Ilium Literary Club, Troy Woman's Club, East Side Seniors and a communicant of Sacred Heart Church. Jane and her husband Bill bred boxers and received enormous pleasure from those that shared their home and were members of the Troy Kennel Club.

Jane is survived by a niece and nephews and many cousins. She will be especially missed by Eleanor Tefft her childhood friend and cousin. Jane was recently saddened by the death of her dear friend Marilyn McCarthy of Troy.

Funeral service will be held Friday, February 22, 2008 at 9 AM at the Bryce Funeral Home Inc. 276 Pawling Avenue and at 9:30 AM at Sacred Heart Church with Rev. James J Vaughan, officiating.

Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home Thursday, February 21, 2008 from 4 - 7 PM.

Interment St. Mary's Cemetery, in Troy.
