Jamie (Bielas) Klemczak, 21

Guilderland - Jamie (Bielas) Klemczak, 21, of Townwood Drive died suddenly Saturday, February 20, 2010.

Born in Niskayuna, she was daughter of Nancy Bielas of Guilderland and the late Stanley Klemczak and step daughter of Donald J. Kohn of Guilderland. She had resided in Guilderland all her life and was a 2006 graduate of Guilderland High School.

Jamie was a fourth year student of Women's Studies at Syracuse University and would have graduated in May of 2010.

She was a member of Amnesty International and the National Organization of Women. Jamie was active in social issues volunteering in a rape crisis shelter in Syracuse and loved to work with young children, having spent several years working for a local daycare.

Survivors in addition to her mother and stepfather include her beloved sister, Jo Bielas Klemczak of Guilderland; her maternal grandmother, Mary Bielas of Brunswick; her paternal grandmother, Joyce Klemczak of Amsterdam; several aunts and uncles, Bonnie Bielas of Grafton, Diane Bielas of Albany, Linda and Bill Petrosino of Amsterdam and John and Karen Klemczak, Ft Johnson and several cousins.

Funeral service will be held Tuesday at 10:00 AM at the Bryce Funeral Home, Inc. 276 Pawling Avenue Troy with Rev. Arthur Hagy, Pastor of Center Brunswick United Methodist Church, officiating.

Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home on Monday from 4-7PM.

Interment will be in Eagle Mills Cemetery.
