James T. McNamee Jr., 66

Englewood, FL - James T. McNamee Jr., 66, of Englewood died Friday, January 10, 2014.

Born in Troy, he was son of the late James T. McNamee Sr. and Rita Zalucky McNamee. He had resided in Averill Park most of his life and in Englewood, FL for the past 12 years. He was a graduate of Averill Park High School and Hudson Valley Community College with a degree in drafting.

Jim was employed at National Grid for 36 years retiring as Supervisor of Facilities Management in 2002.

He was a member of the Brunswick Lodge of Elks and National Grid's 25 Year Club. He was an amateur artist in oil paint, and liked to make specialty hand crafted wooden items.

Survivors include two daughters, Noelle (Stanley Gigliotti) McNamee, Averill Park and Heather (Israel) Santiago, Venice, FL; three grandchildren, Kyle Dunn, Clifton Park, NY, and Bailee McNamee and Noah Santiago both of Venice, FL; a sister, Michaeleen (Charles 'Bart') Cook, Waterville Valley, NH; a nephew, James Matthews, Troy, NY; a brother, Gary (Kathleen) McNamee, Port Orange, FL, a nephew, Bryan McNamee, Aiken, SC, and a niece, Erin (Stephen) Moffit, Annapolis, MD; also his former wife, Linda McNamee, Englewood, FL and his mother-in-law, Helen Banker, Englewood, FL.

Relatives and friends may call at the Bryce Funeral Home, Inc. 276 Pawling Avenue Troy on Saturday, March 8, 2014 from 11AM -1 PM with a service to follow at 1PM with Rev. Thomas F. Holmes, officiating. Interment will be in St. Peter's Cemetery Troy.
