Jack A. Middleton

August 24, 1952 ~ November 5, 2015 (age 63) 63 Years Old

Nassau - Jack A.  Middleton, 63, of Taborton Road died suddenly Thursday, November 5, 2015, at St. Peter's Hospital Albany.

Born in Troy, he was son of the late Harold V. Middleton and Jean E. Post Middleton and husband for 30 years of Marcia Stucklen Middleton. He had resided in the Nassau and Albany areas all his life and was a  graduate of Averill Park High School and earned his Bachelors and Masters degrees in Geology from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. 

Mr. Middleton was a Contract Management Specialist for the New York State Office of Mental Health and an employee with New York State for 33 years retiring in 2013.  

He was a member of the Helderberg-Hudson Grotto of the National Speleological Society and an avid naturalist, gardener and birder.    

Survivors in addition to his wife include a brother, Frederick A. (Debra P.) Middleton, Broadalbin; a sister, Nancy A. Middleton, Nassau; two nephews and a niece, Jeremy, Matthew and Hope Middleton; his beloved cat, Kyra and several aunts, uncles and cousins. He was predeceased by a sister, Karen K. Middleton. 

Relatives and friends may call at the Church of the Covenant 3055 Route 43 Averill Park on Monday, November 9, 2015 from 4-7 with a service at 7PM with Rev. Joseph Auslander, Pastor, officiating.
